International activity of the Union Club Sofia

The intensive diplomatic activity of the Union Club Sofia allowed us to expand our influence all over the world signing contracts of reciprocity with congenial clubs. Excellent example is our joint initiatives with Cercle de l’Union Interalliee in Paris. The fact that Mr Christo Kourteff, the president of Union Club Sofia is a member of Cercle de l’Union Interalliee since 1987, was decisive in building relations between the two clubs. They were expressed by exchanging representative delegations – Union Club Sofia visited Paris in 2011 and 2012 and Cercle de l’Union Interalliee came in Sofia in 2011. In honour of the guests a gala-dinner was given under the patronage of H.M. King Simeon II and H.E. Philippe Autie, Ambassador of France. The French delegation was led by H.E. Ambassador Francois Dorin.

Reciprocity agreement with the greatest Turkish Club

On May 2nd, 2014 in Istanbul a delegation guided by Mr Christo Kourteff, president of the Union Club, was a guest of Cercle d`Orient in reply of invitation of the management of the Turkish Club.
The guests viewed the enormous by area and decently arranged club and conducted interesting conversations during the solemn lunch given in their honour.
Management of the club was represented by: Mr Mehmet Derya Aduguzel, Mr Husein Albairak and Mrs Gulchin Albairak.
The official ceremony of the signing ended with awarding of Mr Christo Kourteff with the honored badge of Cercle d`Orient.
